What Does the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) Mean for Venezuela?

R2P is already at play in the case of Venezuela and will continue to be relevant as long as there is a continued pattern of atrocity crimes perpetrated by the Maduro regime. The international community should continue to leverage regional organizations to escalate pressure on Maduro's government.
