Distribution of Innovation

International distribution of local innovation as a means to promote international relations between people and countries on all levels - government, business, academic and civil society.

One of the main challenges of diplomacy is remaining effective and influential in a world saturated with information, constant disruptive changes, endless actors and decreasing budgets.

The Abba Eban Institute launched the InnoDip Initiative which brings the worlds of diplomacy, technology, and innovation together in order to tailor diplomacy to the needs and challenges of the 21st century. The Initiative focuses on developing and spreading new approaches and tools for innovative diplomacy by integrating technology, new methods & practices, in order to enhance its effectiveness.

The ability to turn information into knowledge and leverage it into actions, can enhance diplomatic efforts, strategy and decision-making, international aid, public diplomacy, and more. After all, technology is only valuable as the impact it is able to create.

InnoDip is relevant for Foreign Services and affiliated stakeholders in the diplomatic eco-system, which are in the process or with the aim of reshaping their way of work, confronting their most urgent needs and seeking for cutting edge tech solutions.

Diplomacy is often a “missed” market opportunity for the business sector. Foreign services and its reciprocal markets are the most globally spread actors, with access to all sectors, and decision-makers. Which is why we are also relevant for startups, tech companies and civil society organizations with existing solutions in relevant fields, looking to engage with the global diplomatic ecosystem in order to expand their market and influence.
