The Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC, Herzliya), headed by Ambassador Ron Prosor, has set to make international diplomacy more innovative, effective, and proactive. As a leading source of knowledge and expertise, in Israel and abroad, on innovative thinking and practices in the fields of diplomacy and foreign relations, we aim to revolutionize the way foreign services and other relevant stakeholders around the world carry out diplomacy, and set a benchmark for the diplomacy of the future.

The IDC is renowned for being the "academy of tomorrow", thereby the institute operates as a “Do-tank”, combing innovation, theory and practice. The Institute is developing new approaches and tools for innovative diplomacy by integrating technology, in order to enhance its effectiveness. We offer guidance, training and collaborations for foreign services and the diplomatic ecosystem that are facing the ever-changing challenges emerging in the 21st century, exacerbated by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
