Office of the USTR Invites Public to Identify Products Potentially Helpful to U.S. Response

The USTR has invited public comments on the US government's response to coronavirus with the aim to identify additional products that could be potentially helpful to the US response. This is specifically relevant to the administration of Section 301, which acts to combat China’s acts, policies and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation. This consultation aims to prioritize US health considerations and will determine if there are critical products that should avoid imposition of tariffs as such under Section 301, such as ventilators, oxygen masks, and nubilators.
