RCEP will be the world’s second-most important trade agreement on arrival, ranking behind only the WTO itself- and it seems to promise a significant contribution to the Indo-Pacific economies. Jeffrey Wilson indicates the importance of the RCEP as a “value-chain enabling” trade agreement, which will help rebuild regional connections severed by the COVID crisis.
